Hi everyone,
UBC IT has renewed the campus wide agreement for Sophos Puremessage (UNIX/Exchange) and Antivirus (desktop). The new agreement is in place until July 2010. In addition to the anti-spam/anti-virus service, UBC also receives Sophos ‘Premium Support’.
Any IT professional who is part of UBC and who supports a group of end users is eligible for direct access to Premium Support. Information on this service is available at Sophos Tech Support
There are two methods for accessing Sophos Premium support:
With either method, simply identify yourself as an IT System Administrator
from UBC supporting end users. If needed, the
license number for Puremessage
(UNIX) and Antivirus (Desktop) is L150550.
The license number for Puremessage Windows/Exchange is 233848.
Note: Please do not ask your end users to contact Sophos "Premium Support" directly. At this time, individual end users are not eligible to access Sophos "Premium Support".
