To change an undergrad account to a fully-fledged grad account:

On hyper:

(1) Change the entry in /opt/sysadmin/common/passwd/users.db:
          jdoe:John Doe:cash:Ugrad:110930::12345678
    becomes:
      jdoe:John Doe:Dept:Grads:110930::12345678
(2) Edit /etc/passwd entry:
group id (gid) 400 becomes 307
(3) Change Group/Comment field in PDC:
       ssh administrator@phaspdc net user jdoe /COMMENT:"Grads"

On mail:

(4) Add to grads@phas email list:
     cd /mail/slist
      vi grads/dist (add jdoe@phas.ubc.ca to end of file)
(5) If no home directory, create one:
       mkdir /home2/jdoe
      cp /home/prototype/dovecot.sieve /home2/jdoe/.dovecot.sieve
      chown -R jdoe:public /home/jdoe
(6) If home directory, check for .forward to disabled@phas.ubc.ca (remove)

On print (delta):

(7) Change from cash to noquota account:
        [root@delta ~]# addquota
       Enter username: jdoe
       Enter dollar amount: 0
       ZERO Dollars? You want to set up a non-cash account, right?
      etc. etc.
