The Xterminal configuration files are in /usr/lib/X11/ncd/configs/. For these Xterminals, the config files look like the following (file AC10071C):
# ncd1 configuration file # # 172.16.7.1 = AC100701 # read /usr/lib/X11/ncd/configs/ncd_17 config-custom-file = "AC100701" ip-address-at-next-boot = 172.16.7.1 unit-name = "ncd1"

Sometimes you need to reset the BIOS back to the defaults. To do this, you interrupt the
boot process (press ESC), and then type the following:
nv
l
s
quit
Also, you may need to go into the setup to change some settings so that it will load the correct configuration file. This is usually indicated by the problem that after the Xterminal boots, it shows many available XDM servers and the usual "PHYSICS" background doesn't show. To fix this, press the "Setup" key. Then use the mouse to select the NCD window manager. Then use the mouse to select "Setup->setup" from the drop-down menu. Following are some of the settings you need to check.
