No IP address and network access. SOLUTION:
Unplug the power cord. After a few seconds, plug the power cord back in.

Access to the MSHOP folder:
1. On PHYSICS server, edit /etc/group
2. Add BSTENE to the MSHOP group
3. On ALPHA server, type "grep -i bstene /etc/group" and make sure BSTENE is part of the MSHOP group
4. View smb.conf and make sure the group permission is correct
5. Type "crontab -l"
6. And then execute the line from crontab to give access right away.
7. Finally on Windows, "map" \\filesvr\mshop to M: 2005-jun-09 Tom PROBLEM:
Application errors. Windows NT crashes. HDD has bad sectors. SOLUTION:
Replaced bad HDD. Installed and configured the following
software: Windows NT, Netscape, SP6, Mozilla, IE6, Wiz, MS Office 2000,
